Item # Description
Lot - Practice Practice

  • Practice Bidding on This Item
  • Please read, understand & ask questions about the auction terms & conditions prior to placing a bid.
  • What is AutoExtend? EXAMPLE: If you are bidding on an item scheduled to end at 10am and you place a bid at 9:59am - the auction will Autoextend to 10:09am - if another bid is placed at 10:04am the auction will again be Autoextended to 10:14am. This will continue until no bids are placed during the 10 minute Autoextend period.
  • Auction Ending Times: Auctions with multiple items use a Staggered ending time. Each item has its own ending time. If the auction is scheduled to end at 10:00am the first item is scheduled to end at 10am and each item after the first will end in a set staggered interval. An example is a 5 minute stagger, each item will end 5 minutes after the item before it. But, don't forget if an item is bid on in the last 10 minutes the AutoExtend will begin for that item. The following items will stay on the original scheduled staggered ending time (unless they too are Autoextended).
  • Outbid emails are only sent prior to the auction closing - once 10am hits on the auction close date - outbid emails are not sent.
  • Bidding Errors - Bidders are responsible for their actions, if you make an entry error you must call our office (608-437-2001) and the error will be examined to determine if it was an error and corrected by Wisconsin Surplus. Errors will not likely be corrected within the last 12 hours of the auction. If you are unsure how to bid or are new we strongly suggest you do not wait until the Very end of the auction to bid.
  • Multiple Item Purchases - If you are the high bidder on multiple items you are responsible for paying for all items -- Bidders are NOT allowed to win mulitple items and then decide which item they want or if you didn't win an item but won several others you are required to pay for the items you did win. Behavior of this nature is not tolerated, if you win 3 items you pay for 3 items.
  • Lot - 48419 Aircraft Hangar to be Removed

  • Details: 85' Wide x 75' Deep x ~25' Clear Internal Height Existing Hangar to be Removed
  • Property Street Address: Hangar is located at 200 Aviation Way, Mosinee, WI 54455
  • Detailed Description of Structure: Approximately 6,375 square foot (85’x75’) aircraft hangar with bifold door, two personnel doors and a 9 foot overhead door opposite the bifold door. The building is a structural steel frame construction with standing seem steel roof and exposed fastener steel siding. Two corner office buildouts, and lean-to storage area. See photos for floor plan/blueprints. Bifold door was functional when power was disconnected from the building, but had mechanical issues (specifics unknown) and is in need of repairs or replacement. Bifold door open height is unknown, but the rough opening for the door is 80’W x 28’H. Gas, electric, and water utilities have been or will be disconnected from the building by the airport. No known roof leaks at the time of listing. Siding is faded, but in overall good condition. Structure is in good condition. Unit heater is old but worked at the time utilities were disconnected. Overhead radiant heaters condition unknown. Air Conditioning unit condition is unknown. The hangar has been tested for and does not contain either asbestos or lead paint. Hangar is being removed to make room for future development of the site.
  • Type of Access to Property: The hangar is currently integrated as a part of the existing airport security fence. Perspective buyers must be escorted by an airport employee to gain access and view the inside of the hangar. After the successful sale, the airport will be hiring a contractor to install a new, 8’ high chain link fence with three strands of barbed wire on top around the building prior to removal to make the entire hangar area publicly accessible. See picture depicting the location of the new fencing. Unrestricted access to the site will be available after the new fence is installed. At the end of each working day during removal, no equipment or materials may be left within 10 feet of the fence. Persons working on removal may not interfere with the fence or work from the airfield side of the fence without complying with airport badging/escort procedures and operational restrictions imposed by the airport. Assume no access to the airfield side of the fence will be granted for building removal.
  • Final Site Condition Requirements: The building and all contents must be removed flush with the floor. All ruts must be repaired restored to a mowable condition. Public Utilities (i.e. underground water shutoff, electric transformer, etc.) must be protected from damage in coordination with the owner of the utility. Damage to floor or pavements abutting the building do not have to be repaired. Any damage to the new asphalt on the access road called Aviation Way will have to be repaired.
  • Removal Requirements: Removal may not begin until the airport has installed the new fence around the building, which may take up to two months after the sale of the building. Buyer must provide the airport a proposed schedule for removal within 2 weeks of sale to allow coordination of the new fence installation. Any garbage generated from the removal must be protected from blowing onto the airfield, which can be hazardous to aircraft operations. Dumpsters must be tarped. No cranes or equipment that exceed 110 feet are allowed. Any crane exceeding 30 feet must be flagged with an FAA approved orange checkered flag. Crane usage is subject to approval and conditions set by the airport and pending FAA airspace review. Buyer is responsible for snow removal to the building if removal is done in the winter. Snow cannot be pushed against the security fence.
  • Items not included: Fencing materials abutting the hangar are not included. Items currently located in the hangar that are not fixed to the building are not included and will be removed prior to the sale being complete. Cabinets and counters in the NE office corner are not included.
